Location – Birmingham Hybrid

The job in a nutshell:

  • You will plan, wireframe, and design a wide range of mobile app and online portal projects as a group.
  • The company uses React and React Native to write the code for its designs. You don't have to know how to code to be considered, but you will need to think about the technical trade-offs or limits of any UI designs you make and talk to the development team when necessary.
  • You will also be part of the quality assurance process for your designs, giving feedback to developers to make sure that the final product looks and works the way you want it to

 

You have:

  • Have great communication skills and be able to listen to the brief.
  • Make apps that work on mobile devices and are ready for the future.
  • Be savvy with planning and keeping track of time for projects.
  • Have a basic understanding of how the graphics process fits into the larger functions of project management.
  • Know the basic ideas of UX design psychology and use them in your work.
  • Know how to design for both mobile first and responsive.
  • Understand the basics of the "Minimum Viable Product" idea and how it affects product design and development, as well as customer budgets.
  • This could be a great opportunity for you if you have the above skills and want to be in charge of this high-profile UX/UI project for the whole business.
  • A proven track record with a portfolio of your past work or ideas for designs.
