The Job – Lead Software Engineer / Full Stack Developer (PropTech) REMOTE

Our client is looking for a Lead Software Engineer / Full Stack Developer. This role is for someone who is super passionate about tech and is always in the know of the latest advances, someone who is an excellent problem solver and critical thinker as well as being comfortable and able to work at pace. The business you will be joining is for an already growing start up PropTech business that are looking to grow both nationally and globally once the UK market is up & running.

 

Duties - Lead Software Engineer / Full Stack Developer (PropTech) REMOTE

  • Writing code on a daily basis, adapting to changing priorities and business

  • Responsible for good architecture (maintainable, performant, testable etc.)
  • Promoting good development practices within the team, ensuring quality code and mentoring junior developers amongst other duties

Working Hours - Lead Software Engineer / Full Stack Developer (PropTech) REMOTE

Monday - Friday  09:00 – 17:30

 

Required

  • 5+ years in web application development (full stack)
  • JavaScript (ES6+ and/or TypeScript)
  • React (Redux a plus)
  • HTML 5 and CSS 3
  • SQL and PostgreSQL
  • Good knowledge of testing (including unit, integration and performance)
  • Experienced working in agile teams
  • Good knowledge of the software development lifecycle
  • Can conduct code reviews and make sure issues are resolved swiftly
  • Experienced developing RESTful APIs
  • Linux

 

Desirable

  • Experience with geospatial/polygon mapping technology e.g. PostGIS, ESRI ArcMap, QGIS, GDAL etc.
  • Python 3 & an AI/ML related libraries
  • Familiar with cloud infrastructure
  • Knowledge of DevOps processes and tools e.g. Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes
  • Project management skills
  • Property industry / proptech experience
