This weekend Jess and Ross put on their trainers and got stuck in raising money for Children with Cancer UK in the Chiltern Challenge. With a generous £690 raised, they easily managed to smash their target of £400 with donations still rolling in.
Being one of the toughest things they have ever done, both mentally and physically, they are very proud of their achievement and are, of course, thankful for all the support and donations they have received.
Looking forward, there are lots of exciting things unfolding at the Recruitment Lounge Ltd and we are thankful for your ongoing support as the company grows.
We will see you at another Children with Cancer challenge but until then, watch this space.
Today we visited Newhall Primary Academy in Harlow to donate £1000 towards their fundraiser.
With the motivation behind the fundraiser being able to raise enough money to better the playground and garden allotment areas, we hope that this donation can help the school. Hopefully the donation will contribute decently towards the project in time for it to be enjoyed throughout the summer because, of course, after a year of being locked indoors due to COVID-19 that’s what the children deserve.
We look forward to seeing how lovely the playground and garden allotment turn out.
With a massive 102 easter eggs in two big bags, Jess and Ross visited the children’s ward at The Princess Alexander Hospital to gift the eggs to the children. We hope that the chocolate will boost the atmosphere there over Easter a little bit and put some smiles on some little faces. Let’s be honest, chocolate makes everything seem that little bit nicer!
